I was heading to bed early when I walked past Anna's room and saw this.
My first thought was, I'll have to get a shot of her sleeping one night. Then I thought, I better just do it, or it will never happen. Especially since it was so cute the way she's cuddled up with goat webkins. Thanks E and Faith. (They got her a box of webkins for Christmas....two cute ones and a token goat, that I'm sure was put in there purely to be made fun of, but she loves the goat...go figure?) Anywho... So I go to get the tripod and realize... tripod is still at the stage. Plan B......put the camera on the dresser. So I set it up.....too far away. Plan C.....Anna's clothes hamper! Set it up....D'oh! Too low! Plan D.....Pull down a giant bin out of the closet ...in the dark..(without dropping it on myself or waking anyone up..a challenge..) and put the hamper on top of the bin.... Perfect height! Set it up take some shots, but it's shaky! The light is too low. It can't do a long exposure! It keeps movin'! D'oh! Mental note: I'm not good at make shift tri-pods. Okay...I'll turn on a small light, set it at 1.4 and get just a few second exposure. Yay! I got a decent shot!
Not the smoothest or the quickest at setting up shots, but eventually, after needless hassle, I figure something out! So much for going to bed early. I've downloaded, edited, and now I'm posting. Going to bed now.
