Christmas Card 2010

Dec 12, 2010 08:19

Here it is. Our 2010 Christmas card. We actually had a lot of idea's for this year's card, but none of my idea's won out, so this was Jonathan's idea. He really thought this would be entertaining. The only problem, I didn't think I could do it, but I went along, extremely hesitant. I'm embarrassed to say this, but I think I put in something like 10 photoshop hours to make this work. Then I'd think I was done and I'd email it to Josh provophoto, only to have him point out a blatant error in the background that I totally missed, that needed even more time and attention. I cursed him, I did, yes, called him horrible names, but then I fixed it and here it is. So it's done, I'm not working on it anymore. I sent them out, and it is what it is at this point. My photoshop skills only go so far.

This is what we worked with.
(My hair and Jonathan's hair is barbie hair.)

The things I did in photoshop:
-Shortened the box
-Shortened Annaliese's torso and legs and arm
-Did a plastic like effect on the faces
-enlarged everyone's eyes
-added shadows behind us
-deleted lots of background info (hair, bridal veil, and created info to go in those areas.)
-changed the pink wedding cake into a White Christmas cake
-changed color of outfits
-added The White Family and text to the front
-added snowflake border
-added Mattel logo
