Man, I forgot how boring work is when there's no work to be done and no homework to occupy myself with. It's times like these that make me like classes. Somewhat.
I'm trying to redesign the ucmun (UConn Model United Nations - conference for high school kids) web page, but it's not going so well. My work computer makes me miss my Macs, especially when it comes to projects like these. I have a great idea, but without PhotoShop I can't work on any of the graphics, and I can't explain why but I hate coding in NotePad, even if I'd be writing almost all the code by hand in PageSpinner anyway. And I can't get the CSS Stylesheet to work, for reasons that are beyond me. So I'm going to try to plan everything out on paper for now and then put it all together later.
The apartment is slowly becoming clean. Well, except for my room. I've just got so much stuff in there that it's hard to sort it all out. I seriously have a stack of paper--just paper--probably over a foot high, just from this semester. What is that, a whole tree? By the time I'm done with college, there will be a whole forest in my filing cabinet.
I was generally pleased with the various season finales on NBC last night. The best thing about them, as far as I was concerned, was that there was enough of a cliffhanger to make you want to watch next season, but not the kind that makes you wait anxiously all summer. Okay, "wait anxiously" might be an overstatement, but you know what I mean. I'll miss my weekly Must-See TV tradition, but I think the summer will be a nice break from all this TV. American Idol and 24 end next week, too. I'm curious about the last episode of 24, but I'm not sure it's going to be so great after all. And I don't really care about American Idol anymore.
Anyway, it's lunchtime, and I need to get something to eat. And maybe pick up Outside Magazine because Lance is on the cover of this month's edition. It was supposed to be on newsstands yesterday.
