TGIF!
It's Friday! Finally! I think this is a good thing. I have lots of papers to write, but for some reason I'm not too stressed about it. Again, I think this is a good thing - but I'm not really sure.
Anyway, I'm having a happy morning! I don't really know why but I'm in a really good mood. You know how someone can do the smallest thing for you but it's just so nice and unexpected that it puts you in a really good mood? It just surprised me this morning - someone at work that I don't really know - and ever since I've been all happy. I just thought I would share the happiness.
Except - okay - American Idol? Ruben? What? One of my co-workers thinks it was a total ploy that he was in the bottom two, to get people to pay attention and vote and whatnot. I don't know, but it was messed up. Although the worst part for me was that I look away for two seconds, I look back, the kids are doing a song with Burt Bacharach, and all of a sudden CARMEN is back on the screen. Whaaat? I thought we managed to get rid of her finally! The American Idol folks seem to love her. I don't get it.
Anyway. Off to do work on aforementioned projects and papers - I will post more useless babble later - I know you're all thrilled!
