holey fucking shit
wow can't believe its been 11 months since ive written in here! so to recap...
may: debutaunte parties, started two summer classes at CCCC, babysat.
june: deb ball, school, babysitting.
july: school, babysitting.
august: school, babysitting, came back to c of c. rush and fall classes started.
september: school, my parents got another dog.
october: turned twenty! orchestra concert, fall break.
november: orch concert, thanksgiving at the beach like always, out to lunch for t-day as always.
december: finals suck still, home for the holidays...
january: moved to france! started university over here. take 3 hours of french class a day. rest of the time is free.
february: had vacation, went to bordeaux. met tons of people at school and elsewhere.
march: continuation. parents came for a visit at the end of the month.
now: finding it hard to believe that i will be going back home to america in 5 weeks! don't want to go home. i would love to stay in europe. i do miss a few things about american life, but i think i can get over that.
so there you have it! my life in a nutshell.
the i went to renew my bus pass because lets face it, walking in the rain is NO fun and PUTAIN the office was already closed. which meant i had to pay another 1,20 to ride the bus in to school the next day because i refuse to walk when its cold.
we had our second test friday and it involved oral comprehension (listening to a text three times really fast then answering questions based on it) and written expression (they give us two prompts and we pick one to write on) and the topics were: do you believe in full freedom of speech? and what is a typical night out for you in your country? i picked the second one.
so my ipod is dead. after school yesterday i hopped another bus out to carrefour and bought a cheap mp3 player because, lets face it, ipod spoils you into thinking that you cant live without music. so im not going to like this whole having to pick and choose what i get to listen to bit, but im hoping that apple will do something to fix my ipod. i wrote them a disappointed letter last week. im being very optimistic i know, but hey, always worth trying something new...
