How awesome would that be?
In honor of this comic, I will tell you something that amuses me. It isn't really terribly surreal, but maybe later I can work on that for you. Anyway, the other day lynx and I were playing City of Heroes, and I saw a guy named DeathbyTouch, and his bio was one line that just said, "Deadly by touching." Something about it just completely cracked me up, so I said that now I want to make a character, Natural origin of course, probably a Plant controller (note to non-geeks: none of this is important, just notice what the words say and move on), named NaughtybyNature. My bio, of course, would just say, "By nature, I am naughty." I would laugh for hours and hours, and people would think I had lost my mind.
Good weekend, enjoying my surprise day off today, although I really have a lot to do.
kaisilverwolf is safely on a plane, I have reading to do and things to clean.
Um, BPAL?
The Oval Portrait: Evil was the hour that she saw, and loved, the painter. Gentle beauty and innocent devotion: honeysuckle, carnation, stargazer lily, bluebonnet, vanilla musk, and rice flower.
In bottle: White flowers and vanilla. Not too overpowering, though.
On me: It's ok. Not getting much of the honeysuckle, it's mostly just. . .white flowers. But it is not offensive floral doom, and that has to count for something!
Queen of Sheba: A woman of exquisite, unearthly beauty, profound intelligence, wit, and exceeding wealth, the Queen of Sheba - called Bilquis by the Muslims and Makeda by the ancient Abysinnians - traveled by caravan to Solomon's realm seeking proof of the king's reputed wisdom. Bearing gifts of exotic spices, a veritable mountain of gold, hearty camels and precious stones, she presented herself to the king and, bearing her heart to him, asked him a series of challenging questions, and was ultimately convinced of the truth of his wisdom, knowledge and judiciousness. In the end, the great king and queen conquered each other's hearts and fell breathlessly in love: the perfect marriage of equals. Her scent is a bounty of golden honeyed almonds and a whisper of African and Middle Eastern spices.
In bottle: Honey spiced almonds. Yum.
On me: Honey spiced almonds. Something has a quality close to menthol, without the scent. Fades pretty quickly to just being strong almond. Still a little spice, though, so it's good.
