50 first dates

Feb 19, 2010 22:17

I miss first dates! In lieu of having any more first dates anytime soon, I would like to live vicariously through you!

Please share with me a story of a first (or whenever!) date that was most memorable to you.

This has nothing to do with first dates, but the dude with the beard who commented on your F-book was hot as hell.

Nick K? Do I win the award for creepy yet? I'm sorry, Jenn.

Oh, Nick, the Kevin Smith lookalike! Yeah, he's from back in my home state area and we only really connected after I moved and before I got a chance to meet him in person! I think he was part of NUF for a while too!

My first date with wifey dirgedoll February 21 2010, 02:51:54 UTC
I was in he middle of a horrible break up with the woman I moved away from Boston with to live in Seattle with. I made a pen pal with a woman from a random date site named Danielle. After trying to off myself when I found out my ex cheated on me ( yeah, wicked stupid) I went back to Seattle to visit a friend Sarah and was coming back to make arrangements to move elsewhere when I planned to stay the night with Danielle. I got off a train from Seattle and was only going to spend the night with Danielle. Only I never left, and we ended up together after that. :) Hence, another lesbian u haul story to add to my several others, only this one had a very happy and successful ending. lol

I knit insanely fast when I'm nervous. But my stitches end up a bit smaller, too!

Do you knit continental? I need to sit down with someone and learn that way because english knitting is so slow!

It wasn't our first date, but the first time Michael and I hung out was amazing. He came over to just meet and maybe stay for a board game or two on the second game night I had at my apartment here. We hit it off right away, and he ended up not leaving till 7am. Nothing happened, at all, physically. We hung out with 2 of my other friends, watched two movies, played board games and around 2 the other two were gone. Michael and I sat and talked on my couch all night, and then moved into my bedroom because I was sleepy, and we just sat/laid down and talked more. Around 6am, he asked if he could touch my hair (lol) and he just kind of lightly stroked my head and I fell asleep. I woke up later with the most amazing note in my kitchen and a bag of oranges on my front step from him. And ... the rest is lovehistory.
