This is to let people know, if you notice you got cut, there's probably a reason. Either you haven't updated and/or commented in ages and ages and I have no idea if you're even alive anymore, we just don't seem to have much in common anymore, or you just don't appear to give a shit about our friendship anymore.
All of which I'm fine with. I just don't want people in these situations reading my most private thoughts and I'm not willing to go through the shit of creating fifty more filters as my needs change.
However, it COULD be a total mistaken click of the mouse. I'm usually pretty OCD about ... well, everything, but I still make asswipe mistakes. So, if you find yourself cut and want to discuss it, for whatever reason, feel free to email me or comment here. Or if you were in the category of being Lost to LJ for a while and want to be re-added, ditto.
A special note - if you were cut ages ago and felt hurt by it, it was very likely because you ended up not commenting to one of my stupid "I'm doing a friends-list cut!" posts and I feel awful about this now. I took it as you not wanting to be on my friends list when this might not have been the case. So, yes, if you feel you were in that situation, please feel free to leave a comment, also. I miss people I've cut (and even this recent cut broke my heart a little) and have some regrets but am too chickenshit to do anything about it just yet, so ... yeah, that's all. >>
