Well I guess i should talk about this. The Get Up Kids are done. It's sad. I'm a little sad. No other band reminds me so much of my friends and great times in high school. I can't listen to one Get Up Kids song without thinking about Aaron. I think about Lindy and Ole everytime I hear Mass Pike. Also, I still think Something to Write Home About is one of the best albums i've ever heard. I'm sure all the GUK's will continue their careers with new bands and projects, but it'll never be the same. They were one of the first bands i really ever fell in love with, and help me expand my musical tastes beyond Pearl Jam and Nirvana. R.I.P.
