I'm in the midst of a wonderful 10-day road trip with my kiddos. We started in Salem and went to a single A baseball game (one of three on the trip - boys are baseball obsessed). The boys got players' autographs and 4 balls, we sat in the grass along the 3rd base line, and loved every minute of it.
The next morning we drove to Boise where we stayed 2 nights. We swam in our hotel's outdoor pool, went to the zoo, Boise State's campus and ate at Cracker Barrel (my childhood favorite from visits with family in GA but we don't have them in WA). We also went to a baseball game where the kids got to run the bases after the game.
Next up were 2 nights camping in Yellowstone. We saw all the typical Yellowstone sights including Old Faithful and tons of roadside animals.
Now we're in Missoula for 2 nights, exploring downtown, U of M's campus, and going to their local water park. Next up is Coeur d'Alene and Silverwood! After 2 nights in Coeur d'Alene we stop in Spokane for one night and our final baseball game. We will be home midday Friday. It's been so fun to spend time with the boys and get away, and we've done some really cool things.
