I got back from Vermont the other day. The trip was so cool. We sang for Don Neuen, who conducted the all eastern chorus festival, and he was amazing. Living with YOCNE people for a week in a big inn was interesting...but we all get along really well, and everyone is so supportive of each other. I'm really glad I went because my voice will be really in shape for the opera. We're doing Venus and Adonis, and I'm Venus, and the music is gorgeous, and I'm wicked excited.
After the opera, I'm going to Cape May, NJ with my family and Giffy, where we will bask on the beach for 4 glorious days. Then band camp..ugh I hate marching season. But it will be fun to meet the new freshmen and show them around and stuff. I think we have 35.
