Kitty-cat pictures!

I couldn't get a decent picture of little Kabibe because she doesn't seem to sit still long enough!

She's been very naughty, attacking her sisters and hissing at them every chance she gets.  It has been getting better, though.  Thank God the other two don't really fight back.  Daisypie seems more scared of her, but not much.  Simcha isn't scared at all, and a couple of times she's hauled off and smacked Kabibe back, but usually the other two will just sit or stand there and look at her until she runs away.

Today, when I got home from E's house, I went to bed and took a nap.  All three slept on the bed with me without any fighting.  Kabibe is getting used to Simcha and Daisy and only attacks occasionally now.

They all love looking out the screen door, but I don't think I'm going to make them outdoor kitties.  Simcha likes looking out the windows better than the others, so I will probably try to make some window seats for them.

My house looks shabby in this shots, but what can I do?  It's a work in progress.

Here's Simcha.  She's the most mellow one, but the strongest and she asserted herself as the alpha the first time I fed them.  She is pretty calm around Kabibe, but she will only put up with a certain amount of nonsense before she lets her know it's not appreciated.  She likes to be cuddled, but she is shy about asking and doesn't come up on the bed or my lap without acting like she thinks she isn't allowed to.  According to the information I got about her, she's between one and two years old.

Kabibe--she's very tiny, but she's supposedly at least 18 months old.  She was a stray, though so she probably didn't get much to eat and it stunted her growth.

Naughtiness!

Daisypie is definitely the sweetest one.  Her tail gets puffed up a lot--she's the most nervous.  But she doesn't ever want to fight with anyone.  She asks to cuddle a lot, but Kabibe tries to monopolize me.  Daisypie is also about one or two years old.  Maybe they just say that about all of them if they don't know.

See?  It's not all hissing and fighting.  They will sit next to each other for long periods of time.  I think Kabibe is softening up gradually.

I am soooo tired today.  I'm depressed, too.  I don't know what I'm going to do about my money problems.  I'm hoping things will settle down now that I have this raise and I'm not spending so much on gas.  Sigh.
