sucker punch
Everyone has been talking about the beautiful whether and how amazing it is, and you know what? They are right! It is wonderful. I have been riding my bike all around and I feel great. This term is definitely starting out on the right foot. Let's hope it stays this way.
Spring Break was spent in Wisconsin Dells, I know not your typical spring break. Our trip was severely lacking in drunken mischief, but that's what spring term is for. We went on a nature hike with Reed and it made me realize how much of america I haven't seen. I want to travel all over the world, but I haven't even seen what's in my own backyard. I think a lot of people forget the beauty of america and get wrapped up in exploring exotic places.
I have been applying for jobs, but I don't want to tell my parents that most of them are in New York. I know they want me to stay close to home. It just turns out that all the great gay jobs are in NY or San Fran.
Everyday I think about graduation. Sure, everyone does. I play the scenes of what my mind thinks graduation will be like over and over again in my head. Who will give the speech? Who will I say good-bye to first, who will I say good-bye to last? What is that ride out of Appleton going to feel like. I suppose I'll come and visit, but I don't want to over stay my welcome.
I'm terrified for next year.
