Hello from Vail, Colorado
After a long and very early flight (waking up at 4 for a 6 am flight is not fun) we arrived in beautiful Vail, Colorado. I absolutely love it here and decided long ago that if I were ever going to move away from the East Coast it would be to here. The only drawback is the altitude which gives me a really bad headache. I just load up on Tylenol and try to ignore it. This place is too cool to be in pain! Speaking of altitude, here is a little fact for you. My house is exactly 11 feet above sea level, the basement is practically underwater. Vail is more than 11,000 feet high. That is more than two miles above my little house in RI. It is amazing (no wonder I'm dizzy from the air being so thin). I hope everyone is having a great break. Keep updating and I'll see you in less than a week.
