that is clearly the last time i leave anything as important as christmas cards to livejournal - i still had to track everyone i wanted down, or wait for them to track me down. in trying to be efficient, i neglected to consider the fact that nobody i planned on carding this year seems to read/update very often. lesson learned. mail goes out on monday, hopefully they will only take a couple days to get to ontario. so just STAY PUT until they get there.
the superbly beautiful snow we had for a couple days is gone,gone,gone, but in its place is a little crunch underfoot, bright grey sky and the smell of pine and spruce mingling with barbeque in the market air. it's bitterly cold, but still, and quite the right weather to be perusing cookies and 'kissing balls', as crystal calls them.
so this afternoon is for curling up on the couch and finishing my christmas-party skirt, and helping decorate the tree, and baking cookies with robin and potlucking and wine-drinking and christmassing of all sorts.
