Fine. I suck at blogging. I blame it on finals and the fact that my greek final ended up being terrible and evil in every way possible and my City of Rome final somehow compelled me to relearn all those incessant dates and maps to within an inch of their lives and generally caused me to channel Hermione and my study group to kick me out for ( Read more... )

It's looking like I'm on my way to enjoying Greece as much as you enjoyed Rome. I'm barely a week into the ASCSA summer program and loving it to death... So glad I get to come back here for a full semester!

See you in the spring...in Mark Landon's Greek Sanctuaries class. ;)

I love your post, mostly because I agree with everything you've said, from what experience I have. I miss good gelato like a fat kid on a diet misses cake.

Sunderland is dangerously close to where my apartment is.

Did we still have a date for July 1?

The lack of gelato in America is by far the greatest crisis in the civilized world today. I fear I am in severe withdrawal.

I thought you were living at Smith? Sounds from your LJ entries like you are in serious need of a non-museum program girls night out. Did we decide what day July 1 is? Somehow I thought it was a friday but now I'm thinking that can't be right....I need a calendar. I have to double check what time my GRE course meets, but I'm thinking it should be ok. I'm excited!

I found out the other day that Stop and Shop sells gelato, though I'm not certain of the quality.

I *am* living at Smith, but this weekend my boyfriend decided to pop out to Amherst to visit, and I have the apartment, so this is where I am.

Yes, I AM in need of a no-museum program girls night out. The weekend after the 1st of July is the 4th, and my mother wants me to come home, which is going to be laborious. This upcoming weekend I'll be in NYC (and turning 21, yikes!) and the weekend after I'll be on my way home to NJ. But! I would totally be up for a get together anytime during the week (like the 1st) if you're up for it. Otherwise, I'm free the weekend after, though I fear I might need it sooner than that.

I'm excited too! Yay!

Wow, my calendar was so messed up. I think I must have been looking at July instead of June....*smacks self* I can do the 1st though, as long as it IS actually a Tuesday as my calendar is now saying.

Have fun in NYC! Do crazy 21ish things! :)
