a healthier me

So today I found something I think I'll be able to easily stick with--yoga. I went to my first class today and I jsut absolutely loved it. I got to the studio early because I knew I'd have to fill out paperwork and such and I was speaking with the instructor--she was just so nice. The studio is beautiful also--its all light blue, silver, and dark brown. So I laid my new pink yoga mat down and I think I did most of the poses fine. I wasn't expecting to do crazy headstands or anything like that, and she even complimented me, saying that I did better than most starting out. I loved that there were all kinds of people there-- only 12 people, but an older man, probably in his mid-sixties, a woman in her 60's, myself and two others were the young ones, and the rest were middle aged women. I jsut left feeling so relaxed and calm. I recommend it to everyone. I can't wait to go back again next Sunday.
I also jsut got done walking/running intermittently 1.5 miles around the complex. I actually wanted to go into the exercise room but of course when I'm brave enough to go in, it's locked.
I'm taking steps to a healthier (and hopefully thinner) me!

And I really hate studying.
