Tonight I went back to yoga, after a long absence. I find that when I've been away for a while I enjoy it even more, like a long drink of water when thirsty. That said, after not being there for a while my flexibility is not what is was. I am still able to do certain positions that surprise me, given that I don't exactly fit the physical profile of a yoga fiend - ie I'm a bit of a fatty. But I've been doing yoga on and off for ten years, and I'm quite bendy naturally, so my muscles have become accustomed to bending like a pretzel.
I am battling a football injury at the moment, I trained for a while on Tuesday but was reduced to tears - a very unusual occurrence for me. So, I shall bug one of the physios I work for until they tell me what I've done and how to fix it!
