I love live concerts. In case you missed that.

I turned on television to see Jack Johnson singing from Sydney. I love Jack Johnson.

If you've got some time today, check out Bravo, MSNBC, NBC... I know there are two more stations, but I don't remember what they are... They're broadcasting Live Earth -- a loud SOS with lots of different sounds, including 24 hours of music in hopes of bringing global warming to the front of everybody's minds again.

Al Gore has been doing a great thing. I'm actually happy he got out of politics, because the man I saw then was insecure and clammy. Right now, he's a man with the strength of his convictions. What is this concert really going to do? Probably nothing. But I took the pledge. You can also check your carbon footprint with a short quiz -- it's kinda cool. (Who knows how accurate, but still.) Mine is 250, which is lower than the national average, but it really should be lower than that.

Duchess took a turn for the worse yesterday. She's actually kind of ok and sleeping against my legs right now. (She gave me guity eyes and made me pull the laptop out instead of sitting at the desktop computer.) We don't know what happened, but she couldn't support herself on her front two legs yesterday. This morning, she was much better than last night, so maybe she's just a wuss. I sure hope that's it.
