I've been asking my dad to take me to get my new camera, the Panasonic Lumix ZS7 (which I've been eyeing for months for concerts) and FINALLY we are able to go out and get it.
We were *going* to do a price match at a local electronics store, but the guys in there are jerks. First they said they won't match it because the camera is not the same, because it has an "A" at the end of the model number to show it was a different color, yet they didn't have that on theirs on the phone.
So, we go to the school the next day, bringing all the printed information showing it was the same camera and model that they had, but no. They don't mention the letter at the end of the model number, but instead they say the store isn't an authorized dealer.
HELLO, LOOK RIGHT HERE.

Oh, it gets even better. The store that has all the jerks in it, yeah, they have the camera on sale for $359.99 online. We get to the store, they sale it retails for $499.99. WRONG! They crossed out the retail price on their site, the same as the store we are going to now, that both said retail price $399.99. Even funnier. They said they would sell it to us for $399.99, the retail price, and wouldn't even admit to their own sale price! It was on the paper right in front of them.
So, we left without the camera, and go to the store we originally planned to go to (it was further away). We get there, worrying we wouldn't get there in time; and guess what we find? The store was closed. Almost an hour to drive there in traffic and then the store is closed because they mixed up the times on their website. It won't be open until Sunday.
/rant over.
