Yay for Spring Break!!
Go showdy, it's ya birthday. We gone sip bacadi like it's ya birthday!! I'm leaving tomorrow for spring break, and I'm sooooo glad. It's definitely time for a break. I'm gonna miss everybody from school, y'all have fun and be careful, maybe I'll meet up with some of you! I learned some really upsetting news today. My mom told me that the priest at my church, the priest who gave me first confession and first communion and confirmation was thrown out of the priesthood yesterday for sexually molesting some kid. This makes me really angry and disgusted and frustrated. I hate it, it really discredits everything I've ever learned from him and places even more doubt on the church in general. I really think the Catholic church is a positive thing and I feel like it's provided me with a really good basis for my faith, but it's frustrating to me the way bad priests like this reflect on the church as a whole. My uncle is a priest, possibly the coolest priest I know, and I never want people to look at him differently because of the actions of other priests. Anyways, enough preaching, just disturbing stuff going on. I went to the softball game today, lots of fun, working on that tan. My roomate and I got bored today and we put a CD in the microwave. It made a huge flash and scared the shit out of us. Wow, we are so easily entertained. I just got back from a battle with a huge suitcase down 3 flights of stairs, and I think the suitcase won, so it's time for me to rest. Word.
