Hey guess what?! I'm still alive out there somewhere!!
Three guesses on who's back to civilization...(although I really hope it only takes on guess). Yup, camp officially ended yesterday. The kids left at 12 and the staff went whitewater canoeing all day yesterday. SO much fun even though I thought we flipped out of our boat and momentarily thought we were gonna die. So, one of the most fun summers of my life is almost over. So much hard work but I wouldn't change it for anything. Cheesiness, sorry!
Sidenote: One of our horses got rabies and died. And then the vet came and cut its head off to send the brain for testing. Weird, huh? Just something creepy that I had never even thought about before.
Just bought a new book, The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, I'm excited about it.
Yay!! I'm so excited to come back to Tuscaloosa. I've missed everyone there so much and I'm really excited because I'm coming back with a bunch of new friends from this summer that go to Bama. New friends are one of my favorite things in the world.
List of favorite things:
-green olives
-having your bed be really cold when you get in it at night
-bluegrass music
-my grandma's house
-laying out in the backyard with my sister
-watching the simpsons with my old friends
-burning new cds
-tomato sandwiches
-my curly hair, something I've fought for years but I've finally
resigned myself to
-reading everyone's lj posts and realizing that i have really
cool friends
