Questions:
1) What's your name? Emily
2) How old are you? Oh, 23. Yeah. 23.
3) Where are you from? Are you living there right now? I am from Newport in Kentucky, and technically, no.
4) Is it cold where you are? It is certainly trying to be. I'm hoping for snow, but it may still be a while before I get it...
5) What's the time? Naked time! ahaahhaha... no... its 2146
6) What are you wearing? wow...a track sweatshirt for a school I never went to, a t-shirt for a running team I only ran for once, jeans, and underwear.
7) What was the last thing you listened to? It was this whack cover of "baby got back" that was absolutely halarious! I really want to know who did that cover becuase I've got to make other people listen to that thing! Too Funny!
8) What was the last thing you ate? Home-made cornbread and vegitable soup (yum yum)
9) What was the last thing you watched on tv? Um...I think it was the Chealsy v West Ham match. Go Chealsy!
10) What's your favorite tv show? Why? Okay.. I really enjoyed House (you know, when I had TV), becuase that's the snarky attitude that I like to use while I'm at work...I think its great. I also enjoy Mythbusters - because explosions and physics are fun, Avatar - becuase the story is kinda interesting and I like the soft look the art style has, and Dr Who - mostly becuase I think its a laugh, the current Doctor is quite cute, and my Man looks a hell of a lot like him (only my man's face is much nicer to look at, but body type and hair and style - pretty bang on)
11) Quick! Find a book, or something with text on it! Flip to a random page and read some of it! GO! Yeah, this is why this is supposed to be a voice post... Which saves everyone because the closest book is the one in my lap, and I'm sure no one wants to hear about administrative case law THAT badly...
12) What was the last movie you saw? How was it? Hmmm... Hogfather, actually...and I thought it was brilliant. I enjoy Terry Pratchett's humour and the movie was really well done for a $10K budget. It was pretty damn funny!
13) Do YOU think you have an accent? Talk about that. I do in fact have an accent. I grew up in NoKY, but my whole life people thought I was from New England or the British Isles....one person even thought I was from Australia. (wow). I remember once in a job I had in high school, everyone was determined to prove that I sounded like a New Yorker, so when we traveled to NY one summer, they spent a day having me talk to the "natives" and asking them where they thought I was from. The New Yorkers always said "Long Island" and one Long Islander said, "You're definately from New York, we can usually tell our own". It was pretty darn funny. I think it's actually the "newport" accent, becuase no one in this city has ever had trouble understanding me or anyone else from in this city, but go anywhere else and people would say that you talk too fast or that you pronounce certain words funny...it was weird, yet entertaining...Until I went to college in the slightly-South and people there couldn't understand me because i "talked too fast" and used "funny sounding words". Loonies. I mean geeze. At least I don't pronounce "ligther" like "laddher"..there's a "t" in the word people! .... And I'm finished. I think. This is by far more fun than working on final papers...
