In Alabama it is illegal to play dominoes on a Sunday or flick boogers into the wind.
I am contemplating great works of art and literature. They will be monumental and awe-inspiring when I am finished. I have only a portion of each comlpeted... the part that holds my name. The rest will come I'm sure in good time. One cannot rush these things. Inspiration is flighty. So is attention deficite disorder.
Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book is an extremely fun read. Something about the way he writes gives me audio visuals. Most authors strive to show and not tell. Gaiman has an almost disturbing ability to drag one into a given scene by the naval where they see, smell, touch, and taste the world around them. Most authors don't see their greatest success untill after their death. I am of the opinion that Gaiman is probably some form of undead... most likely zombie.
Anyone attending future signings may want to pay close attention to the exact location of their brains and be careful not to let Mr. Gaiman anywhere near them.
