oh montreal
well this weekend i went to montreal to visit a friend at mcgill. oh dear. good drive. found her residence without getting lost, even survived without a parking ticket! ...and got invited to go to a bar by the parking ticket guys (ew, not so much).
we went out for a lovely vegetarian dinner at an awesome buffet that i don't remember the name of! but i ate sooo much, and it was soooo good!!! it was killer walking back up the huge hill to get to campus, and the res!
it was so much fun wandering around the res. bryn knew everyone! so i got introduced to everyone we saw. i felt famous, or something! we started drinking around 9?. i had the reminents of the 26er from the weekend before, and she brought a fresh 26er of bacardi to a party on another floor in her res. we drank mine, then about 1/3 of her 26er. i didn't want to get sick. she demanded another 2 drinks, after i had stopped due to upset tummy.
so then we are all getting ready to leave to go out to a bar. and she took a few swigs straight from the bottle, and then another few. then we left. she got progressively more drunk as we walked down the huge hill. by the time we got to the bar, she couldn't even walk. i was pretty much carrying her. we figured that if we could get her into the bar and sit her down, and get her to drink water she'd be fine. but instead i spent the evening in the bathroom stall with her, while she covered everything in puke! and shouted at me to wipe her face and give her water. it was funny/horrible.
we had to bribe a cab driver $20 to take us back! and then she had some sickness in the res toilets.
overall an eventful night. thank goodness everyone was pretty nice, and cool. if i had to be left alone with pukey mcpuke all night, with no check ups from random cool people, then it would have been fairly uncool!
