I found out on Monday night that my grandmother (on my mom's side) had passed away earlier that day. She was ill for awhile, having been diagnosed with dementia and parkinson's disease years ago, so this is still upsetting but not entirely unexpected. For the past three months, she lived at a nursing home where she was taken care of by the staff and visited daily by my grandfather. The funeral is tomorrow.

I'm doing okay, but thoughts and prayers for my family (especially my mom and grandfather) would be greatly appreciated.
