Happenings
Friday was my birthday, so now I'm 22. That's almost halfway to being halfway to 30. Eeek!
I had work at the museum, which was better than usual because I was not asked to make 1600 photocopies (oh it's happened), but instead I got to make Halloween goodie bags and work the door at a concert.
I came home early and took a nap, then Jud showed up with birthday presents. He gave me King of the Hill (i.e. my family) season 1, the best of Jimmy Fallon DVD (swoon), a pink purse and other random small things. And my parents sent me pink flowers. Jud and I went to dinner at Watershed, which was very good, then came back to make cupcakes and watch King of the Hill.
Then we ended up at Melinda's apartment with my pink cupcakes where they had a surprise soiree for me! Chocolate fondue and pink drinks (which I would like Melinda to teach me how to make). I got my wish of being able to get together with all my friends, and Alex got her wish of getting Jud and I considerably tipsy. It was such a fun party and I am so grateful to have such awesome friends. Thank you guys so much for everything!
The rest of the weekend included Taqueria with a tastier margarita than the last time, more King of the Hill, no work on Sunday, going to the ceramics studio and giving Jud a haircut for the first time. And maybe the last. Hmm.

I TOTALLY forgot to mention one of the best parts of the weekend- Vishal was here! I haven't seen Vishal in a year and a half, and it was SO great to see him! Yeah!
