The other day I found out that one of the pharmacists I work with had a stroke.
I was shocked--I know it can happen to anyone, but I never think of these things happening to people I'm close to.
I have such a hard time with change.
As the years go by everyone gets older, and eventually everyone expires, but having those kinds of things affect me and my loved ones is hard to believe and accept.
I think I just have this idea in my head that nothing bad can touch my family--because it's not something you see on TV or read about in the paper--they are people I know and love.
It's hard to imagine living with someone so close being so drastically changed, let alone living without them.
I'm so naive.

Today is Marianna Kate Loomis' 3rd Birthday!!!

Time flies by so fast.
