Samples, Samples, and more Samples!
I've come to the conclusion that I have to get a serger. Even though I am having the first small run sewn by a yet to be decided manufacturer, I want my samples to be just as finished.
Hopefully this holiday season will be good enough to save enough money for the first run. I don't want to take pre-orders on my first run until I am certain that the producers sample quality and mine "mesh".
Target for first run is Fall '09!!
It will be a small collection to be sure with the main focus on jackets and dresses with reversable accessories.
My size chart is going to be curvy!!
If I don't find a manufacturer in time, I know I can sew all the accessories myself, so as least that wil expand my market a bit. I must have my labels printed,too!
