Obviously the real heavy hitters of vidding are waiting until the series finishes to get going. At least I hope they get going. I have high hopes for Club Vivid next year.
In the mean time, YouTube is awash with YOI vids, most of which have terrible editing, terrible autotune-heavy music, and subtitles floating all over the screen. I have watched way too many of them in an effort to weed out the best of the bunch. All of the vids below still have their flaws, but they're good fun if you need more YOI in your life. As I clearly do.
The one that shows real technical ability in its editing (once you get past the opening credits)...
Turn me on If you just want to see Victor skating to a really well-chosen song...
Applause And if you want a bit more content to the same song...
the other Applause Two about Katsuki Yuuri, katsudon femme fatale...
Dangerous Woman (really like what they did with the aesthetic here, it's like Sin City or something)
How to be a heartbreaker And the tougher side of Yuuri...
Born Ready Two that go for the Victor aging angst (both a bit slow and both sadly with lyrics onscreen)...
Young and Beautiful Viva la Vida "This is 100% Viktor's personal fight song." Totally.
Bubblegum Bitch And this is just fun.
Good Girls Go Bad ETA: The quality of the Yuri Plisetsky vids is even lower than average, for some reason. Having said that I was distinctly charmed by
Team. Iggy Azalea, somehow it makes sense.
