elf has been doing a great
series of posts about the problems and possibilities of ebooks. Personally I have a Kindle which I like very much, but I dislike the current regime of DRM and legalities enough that I've decided on principle not to purchase any ebooks until/if things improve.
Luckily I enjoy old books and I enjoy digging around, so I've managed to uncover quite a bit that I consider worth reading even given this restriction. It seems to me that I ought to share my finds more widely but before I embark on a whole series of posts, I want to find out how many people would be actively interested in mostly-pre-1922 out-of-copyright book recs. They would lean fairly heavily towards the dead white (but often not straight!) male end of the spectrum, though I do what I can.
