So come on now, Fringe writers.

LOL.

We know that didn't really happen.

Basically, spoilers for the entire episode. )

I really, really like this theory and I hope it turns out to be true. Because, SERIOUSLY, SHOW, WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK.

I honestly have zero doubts.

Because if it's not true, then the writers seriously dropped the ball, and wtf. And on this show, the writers just do not do ball dropping. Ever.

Plus, as a rule on television, I don't believe it until I see a corpse. :p

True. That would be just too sloppy.

Yeah, and sometimes even then... Let's just say that in some fandoms death is less permanent than others. XD

Exaaaaaaaaaaaaaactly.

I'm pretty sure I've heard Fringe cast say at least a half dozen times that the best way to guarantee you come back to the show is if you get killed off, so.

Plus this show has FUCKING DOPPELGANGERS EVERYWHERE. So seeing a body? 100% not conclusive.

But mostly I'm just sure he faked his death. Because, yeah. TOO MANY REASONS.

Lol, that's very true. XD But still my favourite quote by a member of this cast is, "It's not incest if it's in a different universe." AND THAT WAS THIS EPISODE IN A NUTSHELL. The Fringe cast should write a guide How to Have Sexual Tension With Yourself.

And that "It's not incest if it's in another universe" WAS IN FACT SETH GABEL who constantly makes me question why he's on the show and not fangirling about it with me instead.

And they hadn't even written this episode yet when he said that.

The Fringe cast should write a guide How to Have Sexual Tension With Yourself.

THIS.

I KNOW! And I've been thinking the same thing about fangirling - he's just so obviously one of us.

AND HOW IS HE EVEN REAL? He's far too precious to be real (both as Lincoln and as himself).

ALL OF THIS.

SERIOUSLY, EVERY WORD.

Perfection and adorableness incarnate.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm just dreaming, and I'll wake up and find out no one that amazing actually exists.

That or he was born and perfected in a lab setting.

My headcanon!Fringe says that each Walternate secretly made a Lincoln Lee in his lab, built to be the perfect human being in every way, implanted with the same memories.... but then the Walters made a slight deviation in giving them different personalities. And then they unleashed them into the universe.

...*ahem* but anyway. :p
