So the other day I joined
mcr_fridayfive. What it is, is they post 5 MCR-related questions on Friday (well, it's actually Saturday for me, but whatev.) and you share your answers! So here is my first ever MCR Friday 5.
What are your favourite songs to hear live?
I haven't seen them live yet, but from all that I've heard, I'd say I'm Not Okay, Helena or Thank You For The Venom. But I've only got Life On The Murder Scene and a Triple J recording to go by!
Are you going to buy The Umbrella Academy when it comes out?
No, I have no idea where to buy comic books from, and I probably couldn't afford to anyway. Being a poor student is a real pain in the arse sometimes.
Have any of the guys/the band as a whole lead you to discover something new that you maybe wouldn't have experienced otherwise?
I owe my love of Thursday to MCR. A while back, a copy of Kerrang came with a CD of songs recommended by MCR and one of those was Understanding In A Carcrash. I fell in love with Thursday, which then lead to my love of post-hardcore music... if you'd told me a year ago that I'd be into this kind of music, I would've thought you were crazy.
If you could give the band any sort of superpowers what would they be?
To be able to disapparate like in Harry Potter. That way, they could visit their family and friends while they're on tour and stuff like that. It'd also make world tours easier, no more long flights!
Have you been to/are you going to a Projekt Revolution date?
No. I live in Australia so it's not really an option. If only I were rich, I'd quit university and follow them around the US!
