The Congressman refers to "the old X designation and the current Fringe division". I LOL'd (and then I got confused, because someone was watching The X-Files earlier in the episode...). Considering I had avoided watching Fringe because it sounded like another X-Files clone, I appreciated the nod.
I've only spotted one "47" in Fringe so far. No Oceanic planes or Slusho yet. Do Abrams' shows all exist in the same universe? I feel like Rambaldi's wacky machines would fit right in in the Fringe 'verse.
