What does it say that I had the best Thanksgiving of my life with someone else's family? Who cares! It was wonderful! We had a roasted and a fried turkey (which was ridiculously delicious). Me and men stood around the frier, smoked cigars, drank maker's mark, and made white trash jokes for hours on end.

I called my Uncle Peter who lives in Santa Fe right before we got on the plane and he said "You should come visit me, I am in the circus." I haven't seen or talked to this man in 4 odd years, so I was a wee bit skeptical. I knew he was an arteest, but I was hoping that he wasn't the tattooed man or dating the bearded lady or something. Turns out he was in this really awesome Cirque de Soleil type deal, only it was all Santa Fe dancers and musicians. He was the ringmaster/drummer. It was so so good to see him, and he is my favorite Breslin.

Also, here is a view of Dan's backyard/house via his brother's website.

Yah. Unbelievable.

My brother's 14th birthday was on Tuesday, and I surprised him with tickets to Aqualung at the Tin Angel. I deserve a freakin best sister of the universe award for that one. We told the kid we were just going out for dinner at Serrano and then when we got there I was like , "btw, Aqualung is upstairs!".

Perhaps the highlight of the evening, besides sitting in the first row, getting a signed Happy Birthday poster, and Ty talking to Matt, was some totally drunk-slash-crazy girl was making fun of Ty's Manchester United jersey (and sort of flirting with him in the process). She was really hot but ultra insane (as usually happens, I informed my bro). My mom got a picture of my bro rolling his eyes and this girl all up in his business, hamming for the camera. It was such a typical party picture, the first of thousands in his life, and I couldn't help but look at it and sigh. My little baby's all grown up.

Skipping to Friday, I left my house at 10am and returned home at 4am. I worked both jobs, did two shots at 1am to get the party started and was still drinking screwdrivers at 3:30 like a godamn tool. I paid for that day all weekend. Dan and I went to see Iron and Wine on Saturday night but it kind of blew. The actual show was beautiful, but I found it really challenging to stand in a cold cold warehouse and listen to the most beautifully mellow music ever while pretty hungover. I wish I could have seen them in their coffee shop gig days. I feel like I need a comfy couch and a big fuckin cappuccino in front of me the really enjoy it. Instead, I just dozed on Dan's shoulder.

And that pretty much brings us up to date.

Oh, except for my new found (if a little behind the bandwagon) addiction to Soduku.

Also, the new Amada website is up, and you should go to colorstrology.com because we published the book and it's fun.

Thus endeth the longest entry ever by me.
