"Yeah Kara! Love you! Love you!"
She smiles a small smile. Right now, in this moment, she wishes she was Kara. She wants to be able to sit in a crowd without stealing a thing and be randomly chosen for something. She wants Hardsion to be shouting how much he loves her over the crowd's applause. To see him unabashedly watch her the way he only does normally when he thinks she's not looking.
"Silence!"
But she's Parker, not Kara. And Parker hates herself. Because she could have all that, all she secretly wants. She just chooses not to. She chooses picking the wallet from the man next to her over chatting with him about the quality of the entertainment. And Parker conscientiously chose to tell Hardison to back off. She never thought she'd miss his advances as much as she does. But Parker made her choice and she's not going to be taking it back anytime soon.
So for as long as she can, Parker's going to choose happiness. She's going to choose love. She's going to choose to be Kara just that extra bit longer. And that's one choice she knows she'll never regret.
