(no subject)
Joanne and I spent a couple hours at the beach yesterday which means it is OFFICIALLY summer! Yay! Love quality Jo time...plenty of people watching, gossiping and serious convo. Followed by the mall...where i bought the hottest black dress for my cousin's wedding, only to come back and re-read the invitation...the wedding's at ONE not FOUR. Well, the dress was 90% off, so obviously i'm keeping it (now i need somewhere to wear it)...i'll find something more daytime dressy. AND i realized i need something to wear to the rehearsal dinner. dammit. Not really dammit. because i heart shopping.
my job for today is to clean out the pool of leaves and debris and start filling it. I'm all sunscreened up and wearing my bikini top and shorts...ready for more sun! I really should have done it when it was first proposed to me, because there was no water in the pool then...but it rained for 4 days after that. So it'll be kinda slimy and cold at first but whatever. Sarah Colby got me a giant pool lounger float for my birthday, so i'm willing to put in the time to get the pool ready for SUMMER!
dress code update...i have a spaacer for my nose. i'm wicked excited to use my ipod again. and as long as i stay hydrated i'll get over not being able to wear tanks. so, next saturday is day 1 and i'm ready.
