hey friends! hope y'all all had a great first day back.
people are starting to scare the crap out of me... that's twice now that someone has professed "deep feelings" for me... via myspace. mind you, these are people that i don't even KNOW! this one guy added me... we apparently had a class together here at UL a few years ago and he finally mustered up the courage to add me on myspace (?) and then messaged me and told me wanted to start the year with a clean slate and figure out a way for us to be together. so i'm thinking... no more anonymous friends on the internet! i've about had it with weird, disgusting... unknown creepy... males. it's just inappropriate!
new-found addiction to caffeine... so that's not good.
i also found a church where feel like i belong and i no longer consider myself a catholic... just a christian. it took me many years to figure out that i just wasn't a better person for going to church... it's the fact that you have to WANT to be there in the first place. it's about finding a purpose. well, i finally found my purpose and i gotta tell ya... it's amazing.
i got this cookbook written by henry hill... for those of you who don't know who that is, he's the irish-italian mobster that the movie "goodfellas" was based on. anyway, this guy is amazing. his story is probably one of my favorites... and he put out this cookbook for italian cooking "on the run." UNBELIEVABLE. you should see some of these recipes. if you enjoy cooking, then this is THE book to get. i read it like a novel, cause he has stories in the book that parallel the recipes. it's pretty cool! so that's a little tidbit...
