spring break begins
siu's unofficial was alright...i worked till late but then kasey caught me up by giving me tequila shots...oh dear. the rest of the night is kinda fuzzy to me...tuesday we went out to dinner and drinks for abby's birthday..we went to mississippi flyaway, then to hangar. hangar was soooo awkward-abby and whit were like the only ones in heels(we told them they would be) and i swear to god EVERYONE at the bar stared us down when we came in..it was beyond awkward. i got a couple of red alerts and got pretty buzzin. the bathroom was HILARIOUS though...soooo out of the movie the sweetest thing. there was all this writing on the stalls, me and kasey were just squating over the seats reading them and cracking up. they were playing punk music,so to be rediculous me and kasey did some country dancing and stuff...it was too funny. jake and blake met up with us too, but then we decided to go to pinch where they had $3 martinis that were the death of us. i was told that i was running around flashing lighters in people's faces and apparently me and kasey spilled our martinis on us.whoooops. it was sucha random good time though, i might have to give up a saturday of drinking and start drinking on tuesdays. haha.
so lets see...last week unofficial was pretty sweet. we went up on thursday and stayed till sunday. me,kasey,jj, and will got famous dave's when we got into town(which was a first for me) and wow...they're food is hella good!lol..lots of people from mendota ended up coming and staying at britt's. it was insane. we got up at 8ish the next morning and began our long day of drinking.i swear i had every single kind of alcohol that day...mimosas,boonsfarm,beer,vodka,blablabla...i wasnt feeling too hot. but i made it all day w/ out a nap and i lasted till 2. i never made it to the bars, but that was prolly a good thing considering the cover was rediculous to get in. i think i walked 5000 miles too...we went around to lots of parties around town and a couple frat houses. the next day everyone left, so me,erin, and tmaas cleaned the apt which was sick. SOMEONE ended up stealing britt's roxy cowboy hat, my sunglasses, and tyler's sandwich from the fridge from chili's which he didnt even get a bite of. the container even had his name on it,so he was livid. after cleaning we (and britt)went to ocharley's to eat(again, another first) and that too was scrumptious. We came back full as heck and napped/watched talladega nights. then tarl called cuz he was coming into town to get dinner with me...it was only like 2-3 hrs after we ate our late lunch, so i was hella full. we ended up going to a chinese buffet that was HELLA expensive and i only ended up eating one plate..so i was not a happy camper. $15 for one plate of food. it WAS good though.lol. anyways- came back, got ready...went out to CO daniels.but i didnt feel like drinking cuz i was hella full, so i just had a couple drinks. kasey,jj,and will met up with us and didnt drink much either. ang and britt ended up leaving to meet up with some other people, so me and kasey pretended we were wasted and danced rediculously together. it was hilarious. this group of guys came up to me and started chit chatting, then kasey saved me and we left. haha.they walked me back to erin and britt's but no one was home so i couldnt get in, but then i got a call from erin telling me to go to murphys cuz trip was there. crazy! so we hung out at murphys till close and i got to talk to trip which was nice since i havent seen him in forever. the next day we hung out at will's for the afternoon, got food, and drove back to eastern to pick up kasey's dog and visit w/ drew and post..and then i stopped by cory's to see him since i hadnt seen him in forever either. scout and his dog played..it was sooo cute.
this week was pretty dumb. school sucks. me and kasey went shopping for will's bday present on tuesday and went to ruby tuesdays for dinner. yumyum. we ended up buying card's and a cubs hat since they were on sale...they are hella cute.
so, its been crazy nice weather here and i swear to god EVERYDAY i work is super nice. the other days are more chilly. boo. we took scout and allie on a few walks...they are hilarious.
im gonna vent now about work. thursday i was planning to go to u of i so therefor i wouldnt be able to work on friday. so i asked rob if he could come in for my shift and he said he had something to do, but could come in for a good part of my shift. so, my boss messages me back that it was fine as long as my ENTIRE shift was covered. which is bullshit, cuz i am alone in the office all the time and he always comes in and is like, "oh, where is ____ your supposed to be working with?!" they obviously never tell him if they arent coming in or try and find someone to work for them. i cant even remember the last time i DIDNT work alone for a big part of the day. on siu's unofficial i was alone ALL DAY LONG... and today i've been alone. its stupid...he even came in today and asked where lindsay was. ok, im done venting. i just dont understand why I need to find replacements but they can just not even show up. stupppppid.
ok, so im working till 5:30, then going home and finishing packing, then im heading home for spring break! yay! even though i wont get home till midnight prolly, its gonna suck hardcore.
