CURSE YOU DR. SEATON! My survey of music literature class is going to kill me. I just analyzed Gregorian chant for 3 hours...it was oh so much fun. I'm not really liking any of my classes except for (surprise!) theory and of course violin lessons and chamber music. My quartet is playing the first two movements of the Haydn Emperor quartet, which we have to perform in a few weeks. I'm completely in love with the second movement!!!
My jury went ok I guess...I made an A-. I guess that's good. I didn't feel like it went well at all, but I was scared as shit...I had to play PAGANINI for crying out loud. Oh well, it's over, I'm done.
Otherwise, not much is going on here. I had a great lesson this morning, and I finally get to start on new music. Yay! Well, I hope everyone is having a good semester so far. I'm off to bed finally...
