Writing papers...
I'm tired of writing papers...I'm writing a paper at the moment on how Dante's Inferno has influenced musical literature. Fun stuff...I'm also writing a paper on how Charlie Chaplin's film Modern Times is a product of modernism. So I'm taking a break from all of this paper writing madness...
I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving and see all of my friends and family. REAL FOOD!!! I'm listening to Tchaikovsky right now, and it makes me feel oddly homesick...hmmm...I miss everyone! I love everyone here, though, and I'm going to miss them when I go to London next semester...less than 8 weeks!
I had another good lesson on Wednesday...it makes my whole week when I have a good lesson. Beth was in such a great mood, and she was making jokes about everything. She's so great...She makes me laugh! :) I have to start on the Fiorillo etudes when I finish Kreutzer...yikes! I'm so excited about London...I can't stop thinking about it. It's going to be such a wonderful academic/cultural/musical/life experience!!
Well, I must stop stalling and get back to my lovely papers...
