la la la
Sooooooooooo I haven’t updated in awhile but I’ve just now been able to get back on the net. We had to try and try and try to find someone that would give us tv and cable service because apparently the last guy that lived here had bills with EVERYONE and no one would give us service till his bills were paid which I think just makes SO much sense don’t you? Well new years was a blast. Not really. We just sat on the couch cause we didn’t want to drive anywhere and one of would have had to be the DD anyways so we watched movies and messed around and it was just another boring night at home. A couple crappy things about the new house..
1. We are exactly one block from the train tracks
2. It is hard wood floors on top of a dirt basement so you don’t walk around with out socks cause you will freeze your toesies off
3. The house is made of stone, no insulations... brrrrrrrr
4. We had to pay all the last guys bills
5. The cats have hiding places.... NOT GOOD.
6.Chris’ grandparents call ALL the time
other than that its nice. I do love the place. I love having all this space, the train is noisy but I am getting used to them again already, I grew up with them right next to my grandma and papa’s house in Overton so it’s just being a little kid again. As for the floors we just have to sand and seal them again and it will take care of what is left of the draftiness. The stone walls will be BEAUTIFUL in the summer and keep the house cool. All the bills we had to pay came off of our rent and the cats are crazy so that we just have to deal with. Chris jut came home on his lunch break and apologized for all the mean things he said this weekend and for acting like a jerk. That’s the nice thing... he rarely acts like a jerk and is one out of 200 days mean, but he always apologizes and admits he’s wrong. I have never been in a relationship like this before. And, my Mom and Dad love him it amazes me. They were talking about buying us a washer and dryer set for the house and were asking us about maybe buying it. I was like WHOA NELLY. They even took us o ut for dinner and they always take us someplace really nice. Last time it was Texas Tbone and it was 150$ bill this time it was Old Chicago and it was 100$ We just sat around and drank and ate and had fun and wow. I really like how my parents act around Chris and are so nice to him. They have NEVER been nice to anyone I’ve dated and I’m still in shock. I guess my last couple of choices were not on the best judgement though. Travis... VERY BAD. Danny... BAD. Ryan.... just stupid. And then BINGO I hit a winner and a winner that loves me and wants to be with me for a long time :) it gives me warm fuzzies. SIGH. I love you Carly. You’re my best friend and my family and OOOOOOOOh I am so happy for you and Brad and I really hope that you guys can find a nice place and be happy together for a very long time and if you ever need you can call and I don’t mind crying on the shoulder or big happy hugs :). I am off to a nice hot shower now. YAY.
