well its been a long time folks, here is the latest in the exciting life of emily (sarcasm)
working in west harford schools as a paraprofessional. enjoying it a lot, esp the money. now im not sure if i want to teach special ed or elem ed. i was rooting for elem before, but spec has its fun parts too. yes i like PPTs and IEPs and assessment reports. thanks hoffman.
had a couple of interviews for next school year and more are coming up. very excited. now that i have a full stock of professional clothes im all set in that dept.
resume? check.
cover letters? check.
portfolio? check.
briefcase? check.
wardrobe? check.
cute shoes to match my prof outfits? check.
classy jewelry? check.
prof notepad to show ive done my research on the school district? check.
now all i need is the job. please hire me?? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE? i swear ill do a good job, im a Pro! haha
desperately looking forward to moving out. i think we might do it. gonna wait until i have a real job though, no more of this para work for me. can you tell this is ALL ive been thinking about???
social life is good, see matt, see dev, see katie, see heather and maria once in a while. not bad considering im getting used to working all week again. went out fri to an old lyme bar, mucho fun. its nice to go out down there and see other people that i actually know and am sorta friends with instead of being "new". hung out with dev and katie before we all went out, had lots to drink, lots of fun. overall a successful nite.
i finally get a grad party. didnt get a hig school one so this one is mine! :) its so weird to not be in school taking classes. i want my own real job so bad i can practically smell it. i have interviews lined up for these great school districts. i cant wait to see where im gonna end up.
summer time and the livins easy... summer is gonna be great of course. ozzfest again, but with more people so this is gonna be cool. we're gonna go see dave in saratoga springs bc matt is anti-meadows. crazy fool. i cant wait for summer- camping and fishing trips to boot. ok i guesss thats it for now. gonna try to update again soon, not like anyone reads this thing anyway, lol. just my two losers.
