do you always trust your first initial feeling...

I've been so busy lately. I drove to Seattle 2 weekends ago to pick up Mandy. I got to see Val and Kevin and Carin. I finally got to see Mercer Island. They were having a street fair and to kill time I watched a mediocre rendition of some Shakespeare play for about 15 minutes. I went to the Gosling show at the Crocodile, but I had to leave right after the opening band finished to go to the airport.

I picked up Mandy and we checked into a Motel 6 for the night and then tooled around Seattle for the afternoon before coming back to Richland. I think in the effort to keep her entertained we did everything immaginable the greater Tri-City area has to offer. Among the more notable excursions were a trip to Hermiston to a sidewalk fair, a stop at the McNary dam, the playground at Columbia Park, and more Yahtzee than you could imagine.

She left last night and got home this morning. I went to work today. I don't know if people actually want to hear about work? I'm assuming probably not, but tough. By law, we have to keep our specimens for atleast 2 weeks after their collection date. So after a while our cabinet storage space gets limited and we have to do a specimen dump. Well, it was getting pretty crowded in there and the other courier is in Hawaii until next week so I decided to do it myself. Let me tell you, medical waste is as gross as you would immagine it to be.

David Sedaris is my new love.

I still don't have a home for next year.

Seattle this weekend?
