little things add up!
I was pulling into work today when my air conditioner started making a clunking noise. My first thought was "man, a broken air conditioner, just in time for summer." So I decide to take it to the shop after work, and I tell them either the motor is dying or the belt broke. No, no no. A mouse had a date with death today when it crawled into the motor and shredded itself inside the air duct. A call from an unhappy mechanic told me the story a few hours later. He didn't seem too thrilled to be cleaning mouse blood out of my car. But neither do I, so I'm paying them to do it. I guess my car will smell lemony-fresh for the next few days while the duct cleaner does it's job. I should have it back by tomorrow after spending a pretty penny.
