yo strangas
hi people.
i know you are all probably sick of hearing about my times in australia. i guess if i were you i would be. but im bored and if you dont want to know then dont read it!
im leaving in 6 days. i have final on friday, then that night i leave for fiji, and get back home on wednesday the 5th at midnight. its crazy. i have so many mixed feelings about it. its exciting to go home, i miss everyone. but i love australia so much.
so the semester is done except for my one last shitty psych final worth 60 freakin % of my grade on friday. but i had a couple of hell weeks early in june, and then when classes finnished i went on a 2 week trip. i just got back tonight. it was great. i went snorkeling/ scuba diving on the great barrier reef. so amazing. i got to feed little roos. and see koalas. im sooo obsessed. and i went white water rafting. that was my first week. then i met up with some other roomates and we went on an 8 day road trip down the coast. we rented a camper van. it was fuckin awesome. we were totally trailer trash for a week and we loved it. it sucked cuz it broke down in the middle of buttfuck australia and we had to spend a day and a half waiting for it to be fixed. there was absoulutely nothing to do in the town. we just hung out and got drunk all day at a local yokal bar where we were hit on by a guy named "filthy phil". that pretty much sums that up. we got stuch in a traffic jam one night and this couple came out of their car and were talking to us and stuff. they had 2 lil kids and they offered to let us park our camper in their driveway for the night and we ended up spending all night and the next morning in their house, playing with their kids all night, showering, doing laundry, they made us dinner, they were absoultely the NICEST people. so that was really great. every day we kinda drove for a while, stopped in a random town for some lunch, drove some more, pulled in to our camp site, set up our table and camper chairs, drank some wine, then went out to the bars. it was great. did lotsa shopping and hangin out on the beach even though its not very warm. it was wonderful
