Weight loss gages

When I went to DC last year (at 176 lbs), I took two hoodies with me. One was a pink sweatshirt from Ashford University, which I liked because it didn't make me look too big or boxy, as sweatshirts sometimes do. I was able to tuck the bottom up at my waist, and it looked fitted on me, in a good way.

I put the same sweatshirt on today (at 141 lbs), and it hangs straight down - it doesn't bunch on my hips anymore. I still don't like wearing big sweatshirts because I don't like looking baggy (I'm working on my body image now that I've in maintenance mode), but I kept this pink sweatshirt on today because it reminds me how much I've changed in a year.

It's sort of like your hair growing out - you can't tell much it's grown on a daily basis, but after a few weeks or months, you can tell it's longer. It's been the same way for me with my weight loss - everyone around me tells me the transformation has been amazing, but I still think I look pretty much the same. Until I look at my clothes and realize that the clothes I used to wear are now too big, and the clothes I wear now are in sizes I never thought I'd wear again.
