keyweegirlie: Izzie - remembering Denny or bonding with George
It was George's week to do laundry. Izzie should’ve known better than to leave them in her bag, but returning to work had been hard - good, yet hard - and she'd needed them with her. He stood in the kitchen, looking at her like she might break.
"You didn't deposit the check," he said, no question in his voice. She knew he found it in the bag with her scrubs. He found it wrapped up in the sweater she’d made for Denny.
"It's all I have left of him," she said, impressed that her voice didn’t waver. "I just... Not yet."

gottalovev: Wilson - why he bothers being friends with House (non slashy if possible)
It was the moments they weren't speaking, instead sitting quietly, comfortably in each others' presence, that Wilson remembered why they were friends. House could be abrasive to the point of being cruel, but he still accepted a moment of peace when one was to be had. Silence wasn't awkward to him like it was with some people; he savoured it, neither one of them willing to ruin it for the other. Their lives as doctors, Wilson's life with the nagging ex-wives, and House's life with the nagging pain caused enough chaos.
Afterall, if speech is silver, then silence is gold.

crowgirl13: Han and Leia - post-SW, a quiet interlude outside the war
Unwrapping the strip of fabric from her arm, Leia winced as it pulled on the burn the blaster left behind. She ran her fingers over it, gingerly tracing the circle. It had been mere inches from fatal.
Leia opened the Falcon's med kit, pulling out a bacta patch, trying to open it, but lifting her arm hurt. The footsteps clanging up the gangway were relief to hear. Han sat behind her on the cot, helping with the patch before placing a kiss on Leia’s arm, shoulder, the nape of her neck. She melted into Han’s touch, letting peace sink in.

keyweegirlie: Han Solo - being his snarky self (bonus points for Chewie or Ewoks)
Han couldn’t find his co-pilot. He'd managed to salvage a new sensor dish from the wreckage that landed on Endor's moon, and he needed Chewie's help to put it on the Falcon.
Entering one of the huts high in the trees, Han found Chewie bent over on a hammock half his size with something grey and furry clutched in his hands. Chewie gave him a look, telling Han without speaking he got stuck babysitting the baby Ewok. It squeaked, and Han couldn't resist smirking at his friend. "Might wanna get that hairball looked at, Chewie - could be something serious."

crowgirl13: Sam and River - shocked but cunning
River's broken thoughts made more sense to Sam than anyone else. Her words were said the way his visions played - confused flashes, moments of clarity. River's frame seemed so small, so slight, as he held onto her shoulders, keeping her from thrashing too violently on Serenity's catwalk. A choked moan filled the hold as her eyes flickered, focusing and unfocusing before fixing on Sam's.
"No!" She called out, body twisted with pain from whatever she'd seen. "No! Simon!"
Sam understood her pain too well as Dean stepped into the cargo bay, remembering his own visions of his brother's death.
