My colleagues celebrated my birthday for me today. X, who's a bit on the superstitious side, said it was better not to sing me a birthday song. Pantang ah tu... There was a cake and a birthday card in a PINK envelope and a pretty gift so I made a wish and blew out the candle. Dah. The end.
I was very touched though. My family doesn't celebrate birthdays (at all) so I'm really happy when people ask me out to celebrate or do little things like what my colleagues did. They got me a gold (not gold-plated ah!) key pendant, which is a bit cliched and ohbiang, but that's precisely why I like it. Oh yes, I've exchanged the red crumpler for a brown one. I went to Al-Falah after work (yes, I work on public holidays...) to do my prayers then I walked around Paragon for a bit while waiting for my family to fetch me home. Before that, I dropped by ISETAN supermarket to get some sushi (UNAGI, UNAGI, UNAGI DAISUKI!) coz I was famished and ahhh I forgot to buy daifuku. ):
Flailed over Hikaru's SUMMARY photos and now I'm going to sleep. I shall finish "Beowulf" tomorrow even though I don't quite understand the entire poem and I shall try my mightiest to get the HL104 book done. 10 more chapters to go!I have no choice anyway, I've got to work on Monday. Sigh.
I got sick of my KT playlist so I switched it to the JE one. Guess what? The JE playlist insists on playing KT songs too. Rolls eyes. Pointless. Yes, KAT-TUN, I get the message. Message for you... LOL. But I do miss listening to NEWS and fangirling over Massu & Yamapi. I miss Pi most. ): I just don't fancy him with permed hair. Please, only MatsuJun should have it, okay Pi darling?
