Report Cards and Jennifer Hudson

Well I'm half-way through my report cards. Aychiwawa they are not fun to write out! We have to translate so many of them into Spanish which is excruciating when you don't write the language. I'm looking for any and all websites with comments translated in Spanish. If you use the free translations the words come out very strange. For example refuse becomes basura in Spanish. They think I mean trash, not refusing to do something. Thankfully I can read Spanish adequately enough to come up with what I hope are proper comments. This is the first time I've had a principal who knows Spanish fluently so I will know more after he reads my comments on Monday.

I've been playing some random music while I'm working on the report cards and happened to chose "The Future Ain't What it Used to Be" by Meat Loaf and Jennifer Hudson. Very disconcerting considering what has happened in her life recently. Here are some of the lyrics:

Jennifer Hudson:
It's like a storm that's never ending
It's like a shadow on the land and the sea
There's nothing as sad as a tomorrow gone bad
The future ain't what it used to be, now

Meat Loaf:
Some days I feel so numb and empty
And those would be the good days for me
[Both:]
Nothing gets to me now unless I'm thinking of how
The future ain't what it used to be

I received my issue of Guideposts last week and she is on the cover. I'm wondering if they are going to do a follow-up considering all that happened to her after it went to print. I've lost people in my life, but I couldn't imagine losing so many under such horrible circumstances.

lyrics, report cards, life in general, meat loaf, class
